Father’s day is right around the corner, and you have to do something sweet to honor your special man! You don’t need to spend a lot of money (or time) on the perfect gift for dad. He will LOVE this gift from his favorite kiddos and it is so easy to do!
You will need
- Picture frame. Below are my two favorite frames (click the images to shop):

- Cardboard. The flap of a box will work perfectly just cut it off with a box cuter
- Sharpie & crayon
- Camera. I used my phone!
- Baby’s favorite toy. I like this one because my girls like to watch it light up and sing.
How to set up
- Draw “I love Daddy” on a piece of cardboard with Sharpies/crayons
- Pick a place with lots of light on the baby. A doorway or a couch will be perfect.
- Hand baby the sign that you made to hold in the picture
- Hold a toy at eye level with baby while taking your picture (having an extra person is helpful – they can act as a baby wrangler to keep baby happy)
- Shoot picture at eye level with your baby
- Once you have a perfect shot, send your pictures to a local pharmacy for same day picture pick up!
Don’t feel like doing an art project?
I love this picture gift from minted. Same idea, but a little less work on your part. Just pick a great picture of your little ones, pick your colors, and have minted do the rest of the work!

OMG, I love this. And I love that you also included the non-Pinterest-mom version in case we can’t get it together in time! Awesome idea.

This is so deceptively simple and obvious, it seems like a no brainer. But it’s really not! We can get so caught up in making graphic designs on our phone apps or buying the latest, greatest thing, that we can sometimes forget that it really is just about giving and receiving love. Thanks for this reminder that sometimes easy IS better! : )

Love this! For Father’s and Mother’s Day we try to give each other (with the help of the kids, of course) something handmade, which I think is so much more special. I also love photos : ) Great idea here!
