Perfect for any baby/adult. 4 mo +.
You will Need:
- Apples
- Cinnamon
- BÉABA Babycook
- Silicon Cube Trays
- Apple peeler
Directions:
- Add desired amount of water to Babycook following the directions on the package. I have found that more water makes a more watery applesauce and less water makes a thicker puree. Note: for younger babies just starting purees you may want to start with a more watery puree.
- Peel and cut apples add into the steamer portion of the babycook

- Steam the apples until done (following babycook directions). Note: if you dont have a babycook you can steam apples with a steamer insert in a pot.

- When the babycook alerts you that the apples are done, pour the apples (with desired amount of water left over from steaming–more water will yeild a more watery puree) into the bowl. Add Cinnamon if desired and puree as described in babycook manual.

- Pour into Silicon Trays

- Freeze overnight and then empty into a large labeled plastic bag. Make sure to include date because baby food is only good for one month in freezer.

- Defrost in fridge overnight. I like these for fridge storage. They are BPA free and can be heated in microwave.
